Businessman and Philanthropist - CEO Breakfast Series
Thomas J. Pritzker is an extremely well-known businessman and generous philanthropist. For those unfamiliar with his impressive resume, here’s just a glimpse… Pritzker is Chairman of Global Hyatt Corporation and Marmon Group, Inc. The Chairman and CEO of The Pritzker Organization – a family merchant bank. He sits on the Board of Directors of Royal Caribbean Cruises LTD and Trans Union, is a founding member and Chairman of the Board of Bay City Capital, LLC, and is an active participant on The Business Council, a national organization of CEO’s. As one of Chicago’s and the country’s preeminent businessmen, Pritzker also finds time to play the role of philanthropist. He is Chairman of the Board of the Art Institute of Chicago, a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Chicago, as well as the organizer for the Pritzker Neurospsychiatric Disorders Research Consortium.
So why am I saying all of this? Because you can come see him speak this Monday, October 29, as part of the Young Professionals of Chicago CEO Breakfast Series. Mr. Pritzker will speak about his experiences balancing his business goals and philanthropic interests, as well as answer questions from the audience.
