Facebook is is dead! Deja vu?
A month ago I wrote a post (you can find it here) about how the ‘is’ in facebook mysteriously vanished for a day and how that threw the tech world into a frenzy. I mean, everyone was abuzz about one little 2-letter word missing from a stupid status update.
Well maybe I am seeing things, because the internet world is buzzing again as ‘is’ has disappeared permanently from facebook statuses! Apparently there was a group 182,000 strong on facebook lobbying for the removal of ‘is’… well guess what people, you got your wish! ‘is’ is no longer!

Thanks for the update. My status is now “Adam never has to use is again. Thanks Facebook.” It gives the status update a higher level of funtionality in my opinion becuase I am not as limited in what I can say.
They did however leave is in the text box to start the status update, but you can delete it.
