I know a lot of entrepreneurs and businesspeople are out there looking for the perfect smartphone.  I have tried several phones myself over the last couple years.  I am a gadgetholic, I want my phone to have every feature possible.

I went with the Palm Treo 755p about 2 months ago, and I must say that I love the phone.  I have Sprint service, so I could use EVDO (although the phone still only supports Rev 0, I wish it was Rev A).  I have not had a single problem with the phone yet.  Email is so easy to access and type, I am able to push emails from exchange or just autosync from a server at set intervals.  I have my phone setup for all my business email addresses and in addition my gmail and hotmail which work perfectly on it.  Text messaging shows in conversation format (like the iPhone) so you see something similiar to an instant message window when you go text back and forth with someone.  The phone comes loaded with instant messaging for AIM, MSN, and Yahoo, you can be on all three at the same time and they are easy to configure.  Web browsing is pretty good, I don’t like that the mobile pages often appear, I want full webpage versions in most cases, but that’s not a deal breaker.

The phone and calendar functions work great and you have the ability to reprogram the hot buttons on the phone.  I recently setup the voice control program that comes with the phone, and I am actually finding it useful.  I can press the side button and speak “appointment business meeting date January 15th time 11am” and it is automatically added to my calendar without me typing anything.  You can also use this voice command program to dictate emails, make calls, and more!

The form factor might be a little big for some of you, but I previously had the Sprint PPC, which was like a brick, so this is a nice relief.  It is really comfortable in your hand, the buttons are the perfect size and feel to easily and quickly type messages and email.  Overall, no real complaints on this phone so far.
